Panasonic DVCproHD and Ultra?

O wise gurus of the Cow,
Trying to use Ultra to do some live test keys on an HD shoot using the Panasonic HDX-900. I can see the image via firewire using OnLocation, but not in Ultra.
To further complicate the issue, we're capturing 720p.

Am I asking too much? Or is it the loose nut at the keyboard/eyepiece? most likely the latter!
