m2t files crash ultra

Ultra support files say ultra 2 (which is updated) should accept a m2t file if the computer has a DV codec installed. I have the main concept codec installed, and I rebootted after all installs, but when I try to place a m2t file captured with Sony Vegas from an HDV camera, Ultra repeatedly crashes.
My ultra also crashes when I click the configure button on the HD codec on the output tab.
I've tried rendering to avi in Vegas 7 first, then bringing to ultra. This works, but I'm having frame size and aspect ratio confusion, and the multiple rendering is very worrisome.
I've feeling kind of exhausted from trying to get this program working. If anyone has any advice for me, I would truly appreciate it.

My crash problem was fixed by uninstalling Win DVD. Apparently, it installs an mpeg codec that causes a conflict. However I was then unable to output HD, so I downloaded the trial version of Cineform HD Connect.
Now I can set my project up nicely but when I click the Save Output button, I get nothing - no encoding. My tech support request is pending.

Hello,
We have similar problems with Ultra 2 working with MT2 files from the JVC HD-100U in 720x1280 progressive.
We load the MT2 into Ultra 2, our source clip is say 1min 30secs in length, Ultra 2 will only see about 18 secs of the clip, we have tried to adjust the clip length, in, out point but it makes no difference.
Also sometimes the clip will breakup in the Ultra 2 canvas, looking like digital corruptions and the image breaking appart and vanishing.
I been trying to deal with Adobe tech support but no real response as to why "It works fine here it is your system" this happens on all machines 3 of them I am tested Ultra 2 with.
I have now just converted the MT2 clips into Blackmagic designs MJPEG codec as I have the Multibridge Extreme. I then load the clips into Ultra and it seems better but the software is still bugged to Hell.
I do hope that Ultra CS3 has all these bug fixs. But on spekaing with Adobe tech support Adobe Ultra CS3 is just Serious Magic Ultra 2 re-badged.
I am not hopeful with the software for any serious work as it has already for me weeks behind in TV Presenter showreels shot on green screen which need keying and the software crashs like you said, or it comes up with errors at the final frame then closes when rendering.
So I suggest converting into a non NT2 and see how you go?
