Trackmatte Error after clips is brought into Premiere

Hi, I am trying to clean up a clip imported from Ultra2 that left some impossible to clean up fuzz in the photoframe below. So I thought I could just do a reverse trackmatte on the inside frame and all would be well. But it won't render! Ultra exports in 32 bit for alpha. Maybe that's the prob, or display card??? I need to clean this bit up for a production asap. Thanks,

What sort of file are you attempting to export as your matte layer?
