On Location and Sony EX camera

Anything new to report regarding On Location and the EX? Last I heard it will only work in SD, not HD.

I don't have the EX but it captures DV and HDV. Make sure your camera is not set to downconvert to DV. In the OL menu it lets you select HDV or MPG when a HDV firewire camera is connected. Does OL see your camera?

I'm not interested in shooting HDV or DV; I'd like to use on location with the HD capabilities of the EX camera. On Location is not compatable with the HD output of this camera.

That's fine. You can still use OL to setup the camera via firewire, then capture to the card like normal. Danny
