USB 2, Firewire 800, RAID 0 DVCPro HD

Hi there:

I'm using On Location with a Dell M90 with core2Duo processors and 2 Gigs of RAM.

The RAID I'm trying to use is a Western Digital MyBook Pro 1 Gig, set for RAID 0....

I'm using an HVX200 and the USB 2 connction to the hard drive.

When I capture DVCPro HD 720P at 23.976 on a long scene, On Location gives me about a 30 second countdown during a take and then warns me that the drive is running too slow.

Maybe I should be using another drive?

Maybe I should be using Firewire 800 instead of USB 2?

I don't want to drag around my GRAID Pro with me. I'm afraid I'd ruin it! I was hoping the MyBook would be fast enough. So far no dropped frames, but I feel like I'm on the brink. You know?

Does anyone have a suggestion as to small RAID drives that can handle HD?

Thanks?
