I've just installed OnLocation CS3 on my laptop, previously had DV Rack and it worked fine.
Now, my monitor is black, no picture.
Also, it will not record in either AVI T1 or T2, only as a QT mov file.
If I record as avi t1 I get an error message saying the file is corrupt.
If I record as avi t2 the video will play but it's all garbled digital mess.
QT files play fine.
But still, no monitor???
Any clue?
BTW - Win XP with all the latest updates

I had the same no picture problem and it was caused by an external LCD connected to the laptop. After disconnecting the external LCD and rebooting, the OnLocation monitor works great.
