Does Onlocation Quicktime output remove pulldown
by David Oxhorn on Dec 6, 2007 at 5:06:54 pm

Hi all,

Quick question. I'm capturing DVC Pro HD footage from a Panasonic HVX 200 to a laptop through Onlocation. Does the saved Quicktime movie have the pulldown removed automatically, or does it just flag those frames.

I'm just wondering if I have to run the Quicktime through Cinema Tools to get true 24p without pulldown, or whether I can skip this step.

Thanks.

No, actually OnLocation records the file with a pulldown.

Adobe actually has the ops manual online and it's a helpful resource...
