hey everyone,
are there any straightforward ways to get avi files from Onlocation into final cut pro? thanks!

It's possible but not straightforward.

DVFilm Raylight has a free tool that can convert the DVRack AVI's to Raylight AVI's.

Then Raylight ($195) P2Maker can convert them to P2 Card images for import into FCP using Raylight for Mac ($95). Your total outlay for new software would be $290.

I can't seem to find that free tool for converting .avi from OnLocation into Raylight .avi

Any url?
