.Wav files sound distorted after doing "Restore" in iPod Mini

Hello,

I don't know if anybody had a similar problem; anyway, here it is:
I used the Restore button on my mini for the first time. The memory used in the "Other" section went down from 200 to 20Mb. The problem is that now all the .Wav files sound EXTREMELY distorted. And ONLY the .Wav files! Do you have any advice?
