Yeah, but it'll look like garbage without some help, like Instant HD from Red Giant Software.
And then, of course, since digibeta is 4x3, and 720P is 16x9, you have to choose how you want to alter the picture. Do you leave it 4x3, and add black on the sides? Do you make it 16x9 and cut off the top & bottom of the 4x3 picture? Do you say "screw it" and use the entire 4x3 picrure in a 16x9 frame, thus making the subjects in the picture stretched out horizontally?
And please say you're not capturing that nice Digibeta footage in the DV codec or something calamitous like that....
