Hi,

I am suddenly getting an error code 03 on my sony pvw 2800 deck. Would appreciate some feedback as to what this error is for as my manual says nothing about it that I can find.

That error refers to tape slack detected during playback or recording. In addition to bad tape it could be the reel motor, the motor brake, the reel sensor or a bad circuit card.
