More basic questions
by Rick Pearl on Dec 23, 2008 at 7:03:26 pm

1.) If you get rejected by iTunes, how long should you wait before reapplying?

2.) Once a feed is tested and works, how can it later get broken? What are common causes of this?

Thanks.

First, WHY was feed rejected. Content or Technical (it affects answer).

Next.. Feeds ban break because as you add new episodes, you update feed. Possibly you have a bad enclosure.

Suggest you try FeedValidator.org o test feed then use FeedBurner.com to optimize it.

I have not yet submitted to iTunes yet. Just trying to be cautious before I do.

1.) Does iTunes indicate if you are accepted or rejected or do you just find out you are accepted when it is featured?

2.) Do they indicate when you are rejected if it is for content or technical reasons?

Thanks!
