Basic Newb Questions

Just trying to make sure I understand the whole process. I am going to host some videos with Libsyn and also upload the .XML feed file with Libsyn. I will then submit to iTunes and point the path to the files hosted on Libsyn.
1. Am I missing anything?
2. Do I change the .XML file each and every time that I upload a new video file?

Are there any major benefits to learning one of the programs that create the feed for you VS. just getting the code and modifying it when you upload new files?

Well, personally I believe in knowing as much as you can about how it all works.
If you are the type of person who can write the XML by hand, then you may want to just do that. I write my feed by hand and that gives me a very good idea of where to troubleshoot if anything goes wrong.
Besides, the most "difficult" part is just creating the feed at the start. Once you have a valid iTunes-compatible feed then it is a very quick process to add a new episode. After I've written an episode's description, I can update the feed by hand to post the new episode in just a minute or two flat.

I am guessing that the feed code is the same used by everyone? Where can I get a copy of the code so I can copy-and-paste into a text editor and just experiment?
