Deploying RSS when authoring with GoLive?

I got GoLive as part of the CS2 suite upgrade. The more I use it, the more I like it, but there is no forum for this software. My www.videographyblog.com has been in a formative state for some time. I am now ready for RSS and there is nothing helpful in Help about how to deploy.
Is there a way to deploy RSS onto an existing website with GoLive? Do I need 3rd party software? If so, do you have any pointers?

Hmmmm... I use Dreamweaver, but I've heard great stuff about GoLive. I can't answer your question re: using GoLive, but I have some advice for you.
Your best option is to hard-code your RSS feed. If you have a little bit of coding experience, it's really easy. You need to create a file with the file extension .xml. The rest can be learned by reading the following links (which is exactly how I learned). I had a functioning podcast in only a few hours.

Thanks for the links. It seems funny that a service with a monicker like RSS (Really Simple Syndication) can be so difficut to deploy.
BTW I inadvertenly forgot to check off the box to have replies sent to my email, so I just now found out about your reply.
Funnier yet, was that I did a Google search on "deploying RSS" and your post on Creative Cow came up second. Obviously they have great RSS up in the pasture.

No, (that's why I have written it is Dreamweaver based) but the code or pages it produces will.
So it's something you'll have to probably buy into if you want to use it on a continous basis. But if you do that, I am sure that Interakt won't dissappoint.
Are you seriously into web development? I am asking because if you are, then Dreamweaver is probaly the better solution right now.

Ah, but I believe that if anything they'll ditch goLive and go for Dreamweaver deducting from the kind of reputation that goLive has (I mean I know it's got it's followers but theyu not necessarily in the pro camp).
They have come forward (quite surprisingly to most of the community) with very positive ideas for Director which was the one product everyone believe they'd let die without any further notice. It now has been revived with a mroe or less solid development plan as confirmed by Tom Higgins the product manager.
Can't imagine anything negative happening to Dreamweaver. Maybe a few years ago they woudl have ditched it (when it was quite crap and outperformed by ...Notepad), but now it is actually quite useful (can't believe I am saying this , so there mustbe some truth in it... ;)

I don't have the experience with each of these programs to rate them against each other. But I do see Adobe as "code rich" or more likely "code heavy". They need to do some careful planning to get their programs in line.
The name of this thread asks the question that is of most importance to me now. Is there a way to deploy RSS when authoring with GoLive?
