This is my 1st attempt at using Vegas 11 Plat. Somehow I managed to change one segment of my video timeline to a pink background. Any idea what this color change means?

So far I'm very happy with V 11

Why is the learning curve so damn long?

Pink usually means that the audio and video events are no longer synced together.

Thank you for clearing up that non-issue. I couldn't find any reference to this pink stuff in any of the "help" buttons. I removed several loud clicks from the audio without un-grouping the video. This messed up the synch.

Why is the learning curve so damn long?
