Hi, Im using Sony Vegas Pro 10, what i would like to do do is have a clip and slow down certain parts of it. How would be the best way to tackle this, would I have to split up the clip and slow motion them sections and then re group them all back together? would they stitch back seamlessly?Im not bothered about the audio as ill have a personal track edited in later.
Here is a clip using a go pro cam and vegas pro 10, (

)you can see the clip starts off at normal speed but then slow motion kicks in later, and I can see no flaws in joining them together.
Any advice will be highly appreciated
Steve

[steven ellis] "what i would like to do do is have a clip and slow down certain parts of it. How would be the best way to tackle this,"
Right-click the event and select Insert/Remove Envelope | Velocity and then double-click on the envelope to add keyframes which will allow you to speed up and slow down the video at any point.

Great, Thank you very much John, on a different note i was wondering if you would know the anser to this question I have sony vegas pro 10, In my house I use a PC and a laptop, can I use my key on both machines as long as not as the same time, I have recently purchased the twitor plug in and I asked a similar question about their product and they replied saying yes you can use it on 2 machines as long as there not being used at the same time. Can I do this with Sony Vegas Pro 10 aas this would be convienient as I can then use my laptop with vegas downstairs. I have called sony but due to Independence day there is no one there
Kind Regards

Steve

Yes, the same applies to Sony Vegas Pro 10. You can install it on both your desktop and laptop as long as you only use one at a time. Lot's of us work that way.
