My rendered video turns black. Help me please.

I got a really annoying problem.
I have recorded a video with my digital camera and the file from the camera is a .AVI and i can put in Vegas without problems, just dragged it in the timeline.
Now i have made some text and music to my video in vegas and when i play it all in vegas it shows as i want it to on the review.
But then when i want to render my project to .avi movie it comes out that the video is only black. My text and music shows in the movie as it should, but there is only a black background on it..
What can i do ?
