AVID Free and AVID Express Pro

I'm need to just do some of what we used to call off-line editing. I want to do a rough edit in AVID Free and then send the whole project to an experienced editor in AVID Express Pro for the finishing touches.

Can I do that? Is the OMF file structure the same? Can Pro read Free's sequences?

Thanks for your help.

Avid Free is not compatible with any other Avid. You can't transfer bins, projects, files, etc... I think it's just basically available for people to experience the basics of the Avid interface and editing capabilities so they'll fall in love with Avid and buy the system (pretty smart). Sorry.

Michael.
