Nice job Andrew. It's great that you do all this work and it's nice to get a preview of CS6 and some of what it offers.

However, I do think you could spend a little less time on the obvious and the mundane. JMO

Hi Chris

Thanks for the comment and I understand exactly what you mean, but the series is really for new users and those with little knowledge of the program. It's not really supposed to be a 'what's new in CS6' series but a 'from the ground up' series which requires me to go through the obvious and the mundane as well :o(

The idea behind the series is that anyone starting with Premiere Pro for the first time could watch the series and learn it. And, it is also planned so that those with some skill or knowledge can pick up on specific tutorials to fill in the gaps they may have.

Thanks again for the comment

Andrew,

Great stuff! I'll have another helping of obvious and mundane thank you :). I found the new item tutorial extremely helpful. New to Premiere CS6 and need to get up and running quickly.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob

You've just made my day :o) - this is exactly why I've created this series and I hope you will continue to find it helpful.

There are a lot more tutorials coming out over the coming days, so keep coming back or follow the Cow on twitter for notification when they are released.

Thanks
Andrew

Thanks Andrew. Just finished watching everything so far. I'd love to see a tutorial on best practices on how to organize media outside of the programs for Premiere and all the other CS6 programs, especially on Mac.

Thanks again for your hard work!

Hi John

Thanks for the comment, there are a lot more tutorials uploaded that will be released over the coming days and I am working on still more! So the next few weeks should see a lot more PP CS6 info.

Having said that, I haven't really planned a tutorial on organizing media mainly because different studios like to do their own thing when it comes to media and there isn't really any one 'right' way as work-flow can make a difference as to who needs what when etc.

Sorry to not be more help, but I will have a think and make a note on my list and see if I can come up with something at some point.

All the best

I for one very much appreciate the attention to what might be obvious to long time users! I am going through each of these videos and as someone who uses premiere about once or twice a year for small video projects I"m finding it invaluable! Thanks so much Mr. Devis for making these, they sare superb.

I have actually been using ppcs5 for about a year, but these videos re cs6 (which I just got) have been absolutely invaluable. The way you describe processes couldn't be clearer. Believe me, I've tried plenty of other online instructors and you are far and away the best. Many, many thanks!

Hi Ann

Thank you for your kind comments, I'm really pleased that you're finding the tutorials helpful.

Just so you know, there are lots more to come. Eventually I reckon the series will be in the region of 80 to 100 tutorials - so watch this space! However, as I have to do everything and I still have other jobs to do they will only come out at a little at a time ... but I will get there eventually.

Thanks again for your comments.
