Exporting To Tape Questions

I just finished editing a 720p/60 sequence in CS4(Mac) and need to export to DVcam. However, the 'Export To Tape' is grayed out.
Also, do I need to do anything to make this Widescreen project go to tape properly? This will be going to tv station for air.
I'm connected via firewire and I can capture from this JVC deck.
I've read the directions and looked it up and I can't seem figure it out. I did create a standard DV project and did get the Export To Tape option. I think I might have a deck issue becaue the 'Record Inhibit' light comes on even though the tape isn't locked.

This could not have been done within a DV project.
You indicated that you are working in a DV project file. Did you use one of the presets?
If the project is not a DV project, you could try importing the original project into a DV project.
Sounds like the Frame size and frame rate will both need to be scaled down/reduced. I'm sure there are many methods available to do this, and that results will vary based on the method used.
Maybe check your DV project settings, particularly the Hardware options. Ensure that the DV hardware options are enabled.
I can't remember where the setting is, right now, but there is somewhere that you can detect the DV device, within the project settings. If the device is not detected, I think there is a button where you can attempt to update the list of supported devices.
Make sure the device is connected and powered.
Is the tape hardware, that you are trying to print to, a DV device?
I'm afraid I can't offer more specific information with regard to converting a HD project to SD.

The obvious , have you connected the camcorder , and applied the correct setting..
Also, have you made the timeline live ???????????????
Ps. you could try Exporting to Movie using the Cineform Preset, maybe Cineform avi, try re-importing to a New Project or just use the Consumer Premiere Elements (if you have it), it appears more friendly and it works here if we have gremlins. In Premiere Pro 1.5.1 you could end up with the mt2 file , maybe the same in CS4 and this can be Exported to Tape ? if we have intermittent Export to Tape problems we often do that. Incidently we Export to a Canon HV 20 which gives us very professional results on a 46" Sony Bravia HD Monitor.
