wav files in Premiere pro

I'm using Premiere Pro 1.5 and I have problems with .wav files. Well, I cannot see or hear them in timeline or in monitor window. I don't know what seems to be a problem. It work well with .mp3's but this... no way. Help!?

It's probably a codec issue. Open the WAV in an audio app or QT Pro or something and export it as a Windows PCM WAV.
Ideally, you should match audio files to your project settings - 16 bit, stereo, 44.1 kHz, whatever.
