Mr_RedMotion file format ??? PMF? PMT?

Hi

Premiere 6.5, clip attributes/set-up

I wanted to produce a file that would define the motion of a clip - in this case stills. Efectively create my own transitions.

Having looked at the motion (etc) file some entries are obvious like "zoom=" others need a clue like "fraction" entries.

Most parameters "save as" integers. I was wondering if I can use at least one decimal point to improve (say) circular motion. The specific data would come from a spreadsheet.

So - is there an explanantion of the file format of this file and others (if they are amenable to inspection with simple apps like notepad)? And where is it?

TIA

So far so good.
Spreadsheet macro can generate the position (etc) values in a usable file.
However the mathematical values make the motion lumpy because Premiere reads only the integer part of any entry/line/field. But is not phased by decimals.

There are lines referring to FracV & FracH & Fracspot so it looks possible. The experiment continues. I will report back here when I have more info.

spot= the posn of the centre

zoom= in %

time= scaled to 1000 = 100%

rot= rotation in degrees

dest= seems to be skew, and entry containing 0's 80's and 60's is probably without any skew.
