iphoto question

Noticed we have no iphoto section but some of the ipod useers my know this. Is there a way to have the full screen iphoto slideshow out to a monitor?

Save slideshow using File Export

Make a alarge Movie.

Play Movie using QT Pro and use Ful Screen Mode

When you import from camera to iphoto, the photos go into the library. The library is great but it's a hassle when you want to access the photos from within the application say from Photoshop. Anyone successful in doing this without copying entire files from library to harddrive (eg).?
