which hard drive to choose

can you please advice me which external hard drive to choose for back up of my work please:
LaCie d2 HD QUADRA v2 500GB 7200RPM 16MB ,please
Seagate Freeagent ,
G-Technology G-TECH G-Drive 500GB/16MB 7200RPM Firewire 400 & USB2.0

Either one will work well for what you want. Personally, I like the G-Drive design, but I would also probably just put a hot-swappable SATA case in my computer and buy SATA drives as needed - reduce clutter around the workstation (ImaPC!).

I have had more than 10 Lacie drives fail over the years... only 1 gtech (and they replaced it)
