i need to draw two characters in photoshop one man and one women, can anyone suggest a p[lace to start. I know a former co-worker used http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/ and got some awsome characters?

Hey

Well I am talking about creating my own characters or maybe tracing some already draw characters. But I just can not seem to get the pen tool down well in either photoshop or illustrator!

Using the ben tool is almost necessary, so you may have to learn that. Many of the people where I work hand draw their characters first, scan them in, and them trace and color them (usually in illustrator)
