re pasting in place
by anita sancha on Jul 8, 2008 at 1:11:02 pm

What is the best way to paste in place i.e. same spot as in previous layer. and on another canvas same size? Instead of dumping in middle. I used to use the shift key on the pc but does not work in same way on my mac.

That is one solution but, its mostly for pasting a selected part of the screen
or to transfer to another canvas.

Anita,

If both canvases are the same size, dragging and dropping with the shift key down will hold your position values. Otherwise the image will be centered on the new canvas.

Good luck,
Fritz
