soft brushes problem
by charlie hughes on Jun 17, 2008 at 2:29:58 pm

Hey guys.

I'm painting with Photoshop and for some reason (I've never encountered this on MY system before) I can see the colour rings around all my brush strokes.

With my brush hardness at zero, the stokes aren't blending, they're making terribly clear rings through the image.

Is this a monitor issue? In my image size settings I have it set to bicubic (best for smooth gradients) - though, changing this doesn't seem to have any effect anyways.

I have smoothing on in brush settings. Instead of blending, I see gradations of colour rings becoming less and less opaque when I drop colour.

Any ideas?

Check blending mode of the brush
