Hi everyone,

I have a character in my comp which only needs a spotlight. The rest of the scene has ambient light. Is it possible to have the character accept only the spot in the comp without the ambient? Or do I have to nest a comp for that effect.I thought masking the light would work but not able to do that.

Thanks

Lisa

Just Precomp your Character with the Spot Light.

Now if you make your Precomp 3D, it will accept the ambient light.

So to get rid out of that , Press "A" twice after selecting your precomp and them Turn Off your Accept lights.
