Hello. I'm new to AE. I have just finished editing a video. Now I want to produce it, do i click on "make movie" ?
I've tried several options and it seems that it can produce into a MASSIVE avi. how do i shrink it without losing quality ? i want to produce in mp4, so that it's small in size but good in quality.

As you're new to AE, I would highly recommend you start here:

It is a free set of resources specifically intended to get the beginner in After Effects up to speed on the basics. You will avoid much frustration if you go through all the resources there before you try to do anything else.
