codec for FCP 5 using HDV

Here's my situation, I'm on a Mac G4(dual 142 processors) working with FCP 5. I'm having issues trying to create an AE movie that will play cleanly in my HDV sequence on FCP. What should be my comp settings in AE and what should be my output settings in the render que. I've tried a variety of configurations, but nothing seems to work.

Render it out in the Animation codec. FCP will have to render it again in the edit timeline, but since the Animation codec is lossless, it's okay.... a pain, but okay.
