change the language
by Clara Gordon on Sep 19, 2008 at 11:30:20 pm

Hi!

Does anyone know how to change the language of AE? When I was installing the program, I chose the option of "English", but the program appeared in Spanish. I suppose there is a way of changing it, but I don't know how.

Thanks!

Clara.

If memory serves me, at work, we went into this folder : C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe After Effects 7.0Languages. Next right click on the file named Adobe After Effects E and see the path that the shortcut points to. Now copy that shortcut path to the shortcut path on your desktop and launch.....it should work.

I am not in front of my machine right now that I want to play on, as mine is working, but if I remember this is how we did it.

Thanks Mark,
but I couldn't find the folders and the file you are talking about...:(
May it be because I'm using a mac? Does anyone have a mac and know how to change the language?
Thanks!
Clara.
