Hi Everybody.
I was wondering how does After Effects treats frame blending on a nested composition.
Meaning:
I have a composition which i time remapped and want to frame blend/pixel motion it.
right now i dont have the frame blending check box to active the feature.
Is it a bug or a feature?
or should i find another way around this issue.

Can you see the Switches column in the timeline? If not, right-click near the top of the timeline to activate the views of the various colums: modes, switches, etc. Then you should also activate the master Frame Blending switch at the very top to activate Frame Blending.

frame blending is just for footage. if you nest a comp in another comp and stretch it, ae should recalculate any keyframed animations giving you nice smooth motion (unless in the comp settings>advanced tab, you set the comp to 'preserve frame rate when nested').
now, if you had footage in that nested comp, you would need to enable frame blending for the footage within the nested comp to get frame blending of the footage item in that stretched comp... did that make sense.
