freezing please help

	freezing please help by ashley humby on May 17, 2008 at 4:12:34 pm hi. im new to after effects and iv made a 30 seconds piece but when i go to play it with the little button top right, when it plays and loads up at around 12-13 seconds it freezes (the green bit).what can i do to make it fully load up. thank you. 	Re: freezing please help by Jeremy Fabiano on May 18, 2008 at 4:25:09 am Dunno if this will help, but make sure you save your project. Then close anything you dont need running (instant messangers, itunes, p2p sharing programs anything of the sort that you dont NEED running). Then in afterfx go to edit -> purge -> all then try previewing it again... if this helps, then its likely that either 1. you're doing too much and don't have enough memory, or 2. you just plain need more memory.
