Hi

Theres an effect going on in this movie I would like to know how it is done

http://www.trapcode.com/gallery/emlogo_h.mov

NOT any of the form created effects.......but the blue and yellow 'fizzing' on the outline of the first circle (logo)......is it ALOT of little flame presets?

I am also very interested in the method to constrict said effect to just the outline.

Many thanks in advance

[jay brown] "Theres an effect going on in this movie I would like to know how it is done..."

So would I... and what I'd do is go to the Trapcode web site and start nosing around. Peder Norrby, Mr. Trapcode himself, is really good about describing how the plugins work and what you can do then 'em.

I'm sorry, that's sounds a little cavalier, and I didn't mean to do that.

To answer your question more directly, I think the bubbles effect was made in Particular, with the emitter point following a mask. You can make custom particles in Particular in a precomp... like a bubble or two or three of four.

Thanks Dave

'with the emitter point following a mask' - this was the point in the right direction I was after. I was unaware of such a procedure.

I'll go and research this further

thanks

that looks like a combo of Trapcode Form, Trapcode Particular, and Trapcodde Shine?

the Particular seems to be straight forward, using the normal Point emitter (the motion blur giving the streak effect).

The blue circle seems to be Trapcode Form.

and then the shimmer maybe Trapcode Shine on a path?

just guessing here, what do you think Dave?
