I have been searching to find out how i can make a spinning globe animation in after effects 6.5
I have looked through a few tutorials and even downloaded some project files, none of which have worked for me. One file said that i am missing the CC Sphere plugin.
Could someone please shed some light on how i can create this, a friend of mine needs this animation and i am drawing a blank.

Go grab your AE 6.5 installation disk(s). The many CC (for Canoa) effects are a sseparate installation in AE 6.5. Look for a folder marked "canoa". And if there are installation instructions, FOR PETE'S SAKE, FOLLOW THEM.

[Simon Bonner] "I'm not as experienced as Dave...."
I'm not sure about that, but you indeed have a better memory. It's Cycore and not Canoa. Sorry about that!

It's already in AE.
Effects > Perspective > CC Sphere is exactly what you want.
You need a seamless, wraparound globe image to apply it to.

is there a way to download the Cycore package for 6.5? I went to their site, and the CycoreHD package that they have for download isn't working for me, unless i installed it wrong.
