HI,
Client has requested that I create an animation of their magazine flipping pages while I zoom out with a camera until it flips to the front page and stops.
can someone help me figure this out?

Stay tuned; someone else may have a totally new way to do this than what I know about. Hope so.
You really can't do this in AE cleanly. AE is not a true 3D system.
Try experimenting with the CC Page Turn (distort) and you'll quickly discover the problem of trying to animate flipping pages.
The illusion can be faked with your mastery of a few simple expressions that link front and rear sides of the pages to sequential layers and to the effect position in z space so the pages appear to be stacked. "Simple," when discussing expressions, is relative, of course.
If all you need to do is flip hard slabs that have page images on them, that's easy. But you will spend several hours training yourself on precomps, nests, and AE's peculiar 3d space.
My suggestion is to hire a 3d animator who understand the illusion.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: "For crying out loud, read the freakin' manual."
