[marcin92r] "...this happens even after i re-installed the computer (windows XP and Windows Vista)."

Windows Vista is the problem. There are known issues with AE and Windows Vista. If there is ANY way you can revert to Win XP, I strongly recommend you do so.

An addendum:

Go to the Adobe web site and check on the AE message boards there. You will probably find out more about the problems AE users have had with Vista than you will here.

I agree with Dave... probably Vista.

I had a crashing problem due to a bad plug-in. It fixed itself when I deleted the folder... Documents and Settings/(user)/Application Data/Adobe/After Effects.

Uninstalling leaves this folder intact! So be sure to delete it because if this is the cause it will still be the cause after re-installing! I didn't even have to re-install. AE re-created the folder on launch.
