Very simple basic question..green grid, how to turn it off?

Hello,
I just received an ae file from a client and there is a green grid on top of it. Not the smaller grid that you get from the view-show grid. But a green grid with bigger squares...does anyone know how to turn this off, it's soooo distracting!

ther are two grid functions... proprtional grid (which i think is the one your talking about) and the other grid... you can trun them off in the same place, where you can toggle the safe areas.
