AFX Error --- In need of help.
by FaKegFx on May 23, 2007 at 3:25:44 am

I purchased this software online a while ago and never really did much with it. Lately I have been using it very ofetn learning new things and such. Well, my problem is that the program will run just fine for about 5 minutes or so and then I get this error message and the entire thing closes down.

Here is a screen shot of the error message:

The site I purchased it from no longer sells this program due to cs3 so they don't offer a download for a re-install. Any idea's as to what I can do to fix this? Does anyone know where I can download a free trial from and then just transfer my activation and such?

Looks like the pirate software download error. It's pretty common in cracked software.

If it were legitimate, Adobe has a record of all authorisations and even if a company went out of business, they could help you. But in these cases, probably better to lose the money, learn the lesson and buy a real copy.

Lastly, you didn't need to tell a whole story, the error graphic was the giveaway -- a common error in cases like these.

Please don't keep reposting as we have turned this off about 20 times now. I don't know how this one slipped through but...
