I am trying to create a Fireworks show using After Effects. Any suggestions on how this may be accomplished?

Thank you!

If you are keen on building a really sophisticated fireworks show and have some extra $$ for software. I highly reccomend Wondertouch Particle Illusion. Very sophisticated (and fast) particle emitters provided for just such effects. I made the purchase (which integrates with AE) and it payed for itself on a single client project.
