Anyone have any suggestions. Log & transfer doesn't recognize the files in either format.

My QT & FCP & timeline doesn't see ALL-I compression in QT10 and compressor won't spit out a pro-res file.

MY QT & FCP 7 timeline will see IPB compression but I prefer to encode to pro res to edit using a Kona card and broadcast monitor. Unfortunately compressor seems to be putting in major artifacts into the transcode.

Any advice on setting etc would be great. Thanks

I wonder if the issue not recognising the files will be cured by editing the camera plist file as you have to do for the T2i/550D

Might be worth a go - instructions here

try adding EOS 5D Mark III to the list ?

Total guess - but might work.

best wishes
