Mac is opening .mp4 files with Adobe Soundbooth

Whenever I export a file as an .mp4 my Mac 5 keeps trying to open it in Adobe Soundbooth. The computer has it set as the default player. I can right-click and select Open With/Quicktime player, but how do I make it the default for this type of file? I can do this on a PC but I don't see it on a Mac.

[Neil Patience] "Right click on the MP4 file and select "get info" you will then see an option to "open with" (about 4th down) - just select whatever software you would prefer to open your files with."
Right.
Then click "Change all", so every MP4 will open with the the application that you selected.
