Music video Effect

I'm trying to figure out how to achieve this effect. It looks like a lot of digital zooming in and out combined with some wiggling. I don't think they are doing it manual in motion. Any tips?

I see a lot of snap-zooming with manual zoom control (you disengage the servo zoom and rack the lens by hand) I also saw what looks like a little bit of speed ramping in some of the reverse-angles and wide tracking shots. I thought it was a bit much, a little over the top in terms of how kinetic the edit was, but that's all a matter of relative taste.
