I have some old footage which are on Avid. Does anybody know how to bring those into Final Cut pro without losing qualities? Thanks.

We have an Avid user in our shop. He exports a QT file using an avid codec. I downloaded Avid codecs for Mac from http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=263545. Make sure you export in one of the supported codecs. If you don't see the codec you need, search the Avid site for legacy codecs.
