Effects Editing
by Patrick Bronte on Oct 24, 2009 at 12:35:09 am

I have been editing basic documentary cuts for ages and have decided that I need to learn how to use and create the effects used so often these days. As a new FCP convert I feel I have now got a good grasp on the editing side of FCP 6.

Now its time to learn how and when to use effects. I have been using youtube but found lyda.com helpful because it had a structured course to follow. Can anyone please point me in the direction of some online training, tutorials or resources such as DVDs etc out there that will not only show you how to create effects, use plugins etc but will also help advise/inspire when and where to use them? Off course learning how to use them is the first port of call.

Here's ONE tutorial. But there are so many effects, that it is best just to play with them.
