Liz de PlantaSync out after exporting with QT conversion

Hi there - I have a speech that barely needs editing, shot on PAL HD and editing on FCP. When I export my 30 min extract, (for use on a website) using QT conversion (settings on h.264, 15fps, size 400 x225 and Audio AAC 48000khz) the result is out of sync. There is no cutting in the film.

The same thing happened with another cut I"m doing simultaneously, which has edits, jpgs, titles and transitions. The weird thing with this one is that there's only one clip at the front of the film (after the jpegs and with a title in it) which goes out of sync...

I know there are lots of idiosyncracies with exporting and i've done a few tests on shorter bits - which turn out to be in sync.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance

Lizzie

I seem to have answered my own question - my sequence setting for HDV was 25fps and I was trying to be clever (doh!) and export at 24fps frame rate in QT conversion setting. Seems to be alright now. Which is nice. I've closed my own loop. Hurray for that big 'ol learning curve... just a bummer it's always against the clock!

Cheers
