mac for editing
by Marta Podowska on Oct 18, 2008 at 2:47:04 pm

Hello.
I have a question about mac computers there are good for editing in FCP. I'd like to start working as an editor but I don't know ANYTHING about all these parameters in apple computers. I'd like to get one of those Imac - are they good for editing? I heard that Imac g5 is good enough - but i'm not sure if that is true cause they're not so expensive. Please, help me to pick one - so I could start working.
Thanks for any tips.

Martha

An iMac is very good as a training machine, but you should get an Intel iMac.

The Digital Media Academy still has some I think at exceptional prices.

But this may not help you if you're not in the US.

All the best,

Tom
