How do I add video only to the timeline? Audio is already layed down.

Deselect the audio in the patch panel so the little lozenge buttons on the left side of the timeline window are uncoupled. Select the video button and make sure it's coupled. Edit as normally into the timeline with the canvas overly, the buttons or the keyboard shortcuts.
