I have completed a 16x9 anamorphic project in FCP, but when I load it into Compressor, it is 4x3 in the viewer. It plays back properly in QT and the dimensions are 853x480. It even shows up in the Compressor source window (with the arrow) in the proper aspect ratio. It is slightly over two hours in length and I need to compress the file in order to fit it to DVD. Is there a solution to this aspect ratio problem?

This is normal. Your file's encoded bounds are 720x480. When you drop the DVD encoding preset on it, as long as the preset is set to Aspect Ratio: 16x9, it will encode how you expect.
