Getting rid of sidebars on movie before compression in Sorenson Squeeze

I just recently installed Sorenson Squeeze, and I am looking to find out how to remove the bars before I compress my demo reel. When the movie plays, there are two black bars; one on the left and the other on the right and I want to get rid of them. How do I do this?

Use the cropping tool. Details of how to use it can be found in the help files that get installed with the application.
